it's about pushing the limits- even if you've got a goofy 1.2l turbocharged i3.
i'm one of the more
*interesting* project cars.
coming soon..
here's the deal: traxzilla is a base trim 2025 chevrolet trax- an entry-level, affordable suv. “why buy that suv?”, you might ask. well, to begin, she's my first car, something new that i can afford monthly payments on. now, i wasn't given a car for my birthday, or get to drive some big truck like other people i went to high school with got to drive- she's something that works out with making my own payments. was she the first option? no. my eye was on a jeep, but that was out of the question since they were too expensive at the time and to find a good used one. so what did i turn to next after giving up on jeeps? suvs. i looked and looked for suitable suvs like big escalades or suburbans/tahoes, but that was also difficult since a lot of the affordable dealerships seemed sketchy and might try to scam or not give us certain details on cars. so what did i go with in the end? buying new. it was the only option i had to ensure i got a new car that hasn't been used and would last me a long time, knowing the car since i'm the only one driving it. my grandparents had chipped in and suggested i buy from classic chevrolet, a local chevy dealership with award winning service. i started looking around their inventory and seeing what i could finance, and came across an suv. an suv i could afford. i wasn't going to settle with some sedan or small cheaper car; i wanted an suv. after finding the trax, i knew this would work out. they seem reliable, small, and overall affordable for me. now, it isn't some big silverado or a suburban, but it's something. i got my trax, whom i named traxzilla, and now i own my very own new suv.
i've always wanted a cool off-roading truck. i've dreamed about having some cool, modded truck or larger suv that i could go mudding in, scale different trails, crawl rocks, and do other fun things. i've always liked the look of vehicles with lift kits, led bars, bush guards, and big tires. i've always wanted to experience the fun it would be to ride around in one of those vehicles. but sometimes, we're limited by money, and that's where traxzilla comes in. i still want to achieve my dream. whatever car i got, i was definitely going to off-roading mod. there's no turning around now, traxzilla is set with a name that projects what she is to be one day, a dope off-roading vehicle.
as i stated, despite being a small suv, i'm still going to find ways to mod her into a dope off-roading machine. it's not very practical to modify a smaller vehicle like this, but i have a dream, and i am going to fulfill it. with that, she's going to be a unique trax- a real head-turner. possibly something no one has ever seen or done, because i'm not going to leave her stock or do only small helpful modifications, she's entirely going to change. so, what am i going to do with her? modify the heck out of her. on a 2025, with warranty still on her? yes. i am not going to sit and wait for her warranty to run out before i modify her, i'm going to do it all now. it's not a very good or mindful thing to do, but i am going to build traxzilla no matter how many people disagree. at least those rooted in car culture might send some respect as i try to do what i can for traxzilla. what exactly am i going to modify on her? almost everything on her, tires, wheels, exhaust piping, a roof rack, a lift kit, a hood scoop, and much more.. it's all to build a unique and dope ride. it's all to build.. traxzilla.
if you're looking to support traxzilla, either by donations, sponsorships, or other mediums, you can email [email protected] to see what we can do. thank you for your interest in helping a big dream come to reality.
